Technology & Equipment
What is Photon Counting CT?
Photon Counting CT is the world's most advanced CT technology. Unlike conventional CT, it registers each X-ray photon individually, eliminating electronic noise. The result is the highest resolution images at the lowest radiation doses achievable.
What is the difference between 1.5T and 3T MRI?
3 Tesla MRI produces images with 4 times the resolution of standard 1.5T systems. This means smaller lesions can be detected earlier and with greater accuracy. All MRI examinations at HSM are performed on 3T systems.
Is CT radiation harmful?
All CT examinations involve a small amount of radiation. At HSM, our advanced CT systems are designed to deliver the lowest radiation doses achievable while maintaining the highest image quality. Our radiologists always ensure that the benefit of the examination outweighs the minimal risk.
